    Length
    28 minutes

    Her journey

Generational curse breaking is the hardest path.

Unlearning everything you were taught and breaking free from it.

    Tell yours

In Kay’s own words from TikTok, as a draft. Kay chooses the moments that stay.

    1. Twenty-one years veiled
My hair is not a sin, neither is my body nor my curves. I am whole as I am.
    2. Questioning
If something makes you feel discomfort, small or uneasy in your soul and body, it’s the very thing you should be questioning.
    3. Taking it back
Our autonomy as ethnic girls has been controlled from young. Your adulthood should consist of taking that back audaciously.
    4. Speaking
A woman’s silence is society’s biggest weapon. I will never stop speaking, I was born for this path.
    5. Now
May the cycle end with us.
